Harris married into the William Curry family which was
one of the oldest and most well known families of Key
West and one of the first families to migrate from the
Bahamas in the late 1830's. The house is among the few
to have been designed and built under the supervision of
a prominent architect from the Carolinas, Frank P.
Milburn.Stately and elegant, the house has high
peaked Gothic style roof over classical Revival portico
and four graciously arched bays. The beautiful arched
front door is distinctive and rare in Key West. The
current owners have carefully combined an impeccable

Large rooms, 13' ceilings, elegant moldings and

designed 1500 bottle wine room complete with its own
