John Loulan is a native Virginian who, like many Key West locals, turned a vacation into a permanent move. John has been a full-time real estate professional since 1979, initially launching his career in Virginia Beach, VA. He soon opened his own multi-office full service real estate firm. Several years later that firm was acquired by one of the largest and most successful regional real estate companies of coastal Virginia of which John served as vice president.

John has been heavily involved in the brokerage of commercial properties in Virginia and in Florida. He has successfully brokered the sales of apartment complexes, restaurants, and guest houses in Key West. The depth of his experience allows him to give both his clients and his customers the best advice available when making these important financial decisions. He has personally developed and owned commercial and residential properties that include single family homes, condominium developments, and shopping centers.

After moving to Key West in 1998, John made the decision to do what he loves best, working with customers and clients one on one. He particularly enjoys the history and diversity of the Key West residential properties. Key West is truly like no other real estate market in the United States.

John is a graduate of the Realtors’ Institute and the Staunton Academy. He was educated in Business Administration at Old Dominion University. While working at a major Florida real estate company, he was in the top two percent of over ten thousand agents.

John is an avid boater with extensive sailing experience and is also a licensed aircraft pilot. He lives full-time in Old Town Key West.
